Alsace-Lorraine T 21

In the genus T 21 the associated Reich Railways in Alsace-Lorraine in the course of adapting its numbering system to which the Prussian state railways in 1906, several narrow gauge - locomotives one of the previous section E:

These were meter-gauge, triple-coupled wet steam locomotives with twin engines. The three locomotives of the former E 1 class were built by Krauss in Munich in 1890 , the four of the former E 5 class in 1899 by the same manufacturer. There was only one example of the former type E 4, which was built by Grafenstaden in 1891 . In 1912, the class T 21 locomotives were assigned to the new class T 31.

In 1919, the French state railway Réseau ferroviaire d'Alsace-Lorraine (AL) took over the locomotives and continued the numbering system. The locomotives of the former class T 21 were retired by 1925.
