Else-May Norderhus
Else-May Botten Norderhus (* 16th August 1973 in Halsa as Else-May Botten ) is a Norwegian politician the Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). She has been a member of the Norwegian Parliament, the Storting , since 2009 .
Life
From 1999 to 2009 Norderhus worked for the Norwegian trade union confederation Landsorganisasjonen i Norge (LO). Before that, she studied various economic subjects at Molde University . In the legislative period from 2003 to 2007 she was a member of the Fylkesting von Møre og Romsdal .
In the 2009 parliamentary elections , Norderhus moved into Storting for the first time . There she represents the constituency of Møre og Romsdal and she became a member of the Economic Committee, which she remained after the 2013 election . Following the 2017 election , Norderhus moved to the Energy and Environment Committee. In 2013 she became part of the executive committee of the Arbeiderpartiet.
On October 26, 2018, Norderhus was introduced as the new Fylkesmann for the province of Møre og Romsdal. She will take up the position in 2021 when she leaves the Storting after the parliamentary elections in September 2021 . In the meantime Rigmor Brøste is acting as provincial provincial headman.
