The Elsetalbrücke near Kirchlengern is a viaduct of the federal highway 239 , here B239n, which crosses another road ( Wallücker Bahndamm ), the Löhne – Rheine railway line and the Else river .

The prestressed concrete bridge was built in the late 1990s. At the southern end of the bridge is junction 29 of the federal motorway 30 .

Construction documentation

The program with the mouse accompanied the construction work on the Elsetal Bridge from the groundbreaking to the inauguration of the finished road. Several time-lapse shots of the bridge construction, which were made over several months, are particularly spectacular. The 526 m long girder bridge was built using the so-called incremental launching method . The construction costs without the purchase of the land were then 13.1 million DM , which corresponds to about 8.9 million euros today.
