Elyose is an alternative metal band from Paris, founded in 2009 .

history

Elyose was founded in 2009 by Ghislain Henry and Justine Daaé, who previously acted as singers for Gray November . In the same year their first EP Théogine was released . A year later, a cover version of Diva Dance was released.

The band finances the production and recordings of the albums through crowdfunding campaigns on the Indiegogo website . The band's first album, which has the same name as the EP, was released in 2012. For her album Ipso Facto , which was released in 2015, she raised 8,000 euros. After the success of the album, the production of the third studio album began with guests such as Mark Jansen , Epica and Raf Pener (TANK) . In September 2017, Elyose's first music video, Redemption, reached 1,000,000 views on Youtube while preparing for a European tour with The Birthday Massacre and Sirenia .

After appearances as opening act for Therion 2012, Tarja Turunen 2014 and Stream of Passion 2015, Elyose performed independently for the first time in Paris . Her third album Reconnexion was released on September 27, 2018.

Elyose plays alternative and nu-metal with elements of electronic music . The lyrics are mainly sung in French .
