Emeringen ( Luxembourgish Éimereng , French Emerange ) is a district of the municipality of Schengen , Canton Remich , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Emeringen is located in the very south of Luxembourg on the left bank of the Gander . The small river here also forms the border to Lorraine and thus also to France . Since the Gander flows in a loop around the village, the border runs directly on the western, southern and eastern edge of the village. Neighboring towns are Bad Mondorf in the north, Bürmeringen in the east and Puttelange-lès-Thionville (Püttlingen) on the French side in the west .

Emeringen is a small, rural village Until January 1, 2012, Emeringen belonged to the municipality of Bürmeringen , which was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Schengen.
