Puttelange-lès-Thionville (German Püttlingen , Lorraine Pëttléngen ) is a French commune with 974 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It is located near the French-Luxembourg border about three kilometers south of Bad Mondorf . The districts Halling and Himling belong to the community .

Before the First World War , the French name of the place was Puttelange-lès-Rodemack .
