Havange (German Havingen ) is a French commune with 448 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Thionville .

Havange is located about 15 kilometers west of Thionville on the Autoroute A30 (Uckange-Longwy) at an altitude between 308 and 367 m above sea level. The municipality covers 9.65 km².

The place was first mentioned in 953 as Havechingas , and in 1473: Hefingen .

It has belonged to France since 1766.
