Attractions

Saint-Sauveur

The Saint-Sauveur chapel stands on the edge of a forest clearing northeast of the village near the border with Luxembourg. This place on the way to Altwies is called "Le Castel - De Kaaschtel" because a Roman road ran along here and a fortified " Castrum " ( Castellum ) is assumed at this point . A pilgrimage here is attested from 1571 . The chapel was originally much larger; today only the choir of the former building remains as a chapel.
