Laumesfeld ( lothringisch Laumëschfeld ) is a French municipality with 284 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Moselle in the region of Grand Est (2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Thionville .
geography
Laumesfeld is located about 21 km east of Thionville near the border with Germany at an altitude between 234 and 306 m above sea level. The municipality covers 8.30 km² (830 ha).
The municipality Laumesfeld since 1812 include the two villages Calembourg ( Kalemburg ) and Hargarten.
The Weistroff rises in the community .
