The Weistroff ( French ruisseau de Weistroff ) is a small stream running from west to east in the east of the former Lorraine region , near the border with Saarland . It flows into 218 m above sea level. into the Remel , which crosses the French-German border about 6.2 km further down and flows into the Nied another 1.1 km further at Niedaltdorf .
Up to the mouth of the Ackertsbach coming from the left , the brook is also called Waldweistroff , then up to that of the Letzerbach, also coming from the left, it is also called ruisseau de Hargarten . The stream is named for the village of Waldweistroff, east of Laumesfeld , and the forest of Grand Bois de Waldweistroff to the south .
