The canton Wetter was an administrative unit in the Marburg district of the Werra department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The seat of the cantonal administration was the small town of Wetter in today's Marburg-Biedenkopf district .
The canton comprised 18 villages and hamlets and a city, had 6,248 inhabitants and an area of 2.95 square miles .
