Emil Anhalt

Emil Traugott Adolf Anhalt (born September 11, 1816 in Weimar ; † June 29, 1896 there ) was a German language teacher and writer .

Life

Born as the son of a military Fournier, Anhalt studied Protestant theology and philology in Jena . During his studies in 1837 he became a member of the Burgkeller fraternity , later of the Fürstenkeller fraternity . He was promoted to Dr. phil. doctorate and worked as a language teacher in Weimar.
