Laviska "Viska" Shenault Jr. (born October 5, 1998 in Irving , Texas ) is an American American football player on the position of wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League (NFL).

He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes and was selected by the Jaguars in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft .

Early years and high school

Shenault Jr. attended DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas. As a senior, he had 46 receptions for 825 yards and nine touchdowns . He enlisted in the University of Colorado Boulder to play college football . As a freshman in high school, Shenault Jr. also played basketball.

college

In his first year in Colorado in 2017, Shenault Jr. played 12 games and had seven receptions for 168 yards. As a sophomore in 2018, he became a starter for the Buffaloes, recording 11 receptions for 211 yards and one touchdown in the first game of the season against Colorado State . Against Arizona State he had 13 receptions for 127 yards with two pass touchdowns and two run touchdowns. After the 2019 season with 764 yards and 6 touchdowns, Shenault decided to forego his senior year and sign up for the 2020 NFL draft .
