Emil Arends

Emil Arends (date of birth unknown; † after 1937 ) was a German landscape painter and poster artist .

Life

Emil Arends attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy and is therefore included in the Düsseldorf School . There Adolf Maennchen , Ludwig Keller and Peter Janssen the Elder were his teachers. After living in Fürstenfeldbruck , he settled in Munich around 1912 . There he was a member of the artists' association Ring and secretary of the sociable association of fine artists in Munich .
