Emil Baumgärtel

Emil Baumgärtel (born January 10, 1885 in Wernersreuth , † September 27, 1939 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician.

Professional

Emil Baumgärtel attended a two-class village school and learned the trade of a bookseller . He practiced this profession in Breslau , Frankfurt and Vienna.

Political functions

In 1919 Baumgärtel was the second chairman of the soldiers' council for Upper Austria . From 1919 to 1925 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag , as well as Deputy Provincial Councilor . From November 10, 1920 to February 17, 1934 he was a member of the National Council .
