Emil Dick
Karl Emil Dick (born July 28, 1866 in Bern ; † March 5, 1948 there ) was a Swiss engineer and inventor .
Emil Dick is particularly known for his inventions in the field of electric railway lighting. He applied for a total of around 50 patents. Its lighting system caught on, it was also used in automobiles and power plants. Dick wrote numerous articles, including for the Bulletin of the Swiss Electrotechnical Association , today Bulletin SEV / VSE .
