Emil Eyermann

Emil Raymond Eyermann (born September 21, 1938 in Boulange in Alsace-Lorraine ) was mayor of Hennef (Sieg) from 1984 to 1997 . In 2009 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.

Life

In 1944 Emil Eyermann moved to Hennef. He learned the trade of technical businessman .

Party work

In 1962 Eyermann joined the CDU . From 1971 to 1984 he was managing director.

politics

In 1969 Eyermann became a member of the Hennef Council. In 1979 he became vice chairman of the parliamentary group until he became mayor of Hennef in 1984. From 1997 to 2004 he was deputy mayor. He has been a member of the district council since 1999 and is active in various committees.

social commitment

From 1980 to 2001 Eyermann was deputy managing director of the DRK district association and from 1995 to 2005 chairman of the support association of the mother-child house. Since 2001 he has been President of the Uckerather Sport Club. In 2005 he also became chief lay judge at the Siegburg District Court .

Honors

After Emil Eyermann had already received the Order of Merit in 1990, he was awarded the 1st class increase on March 12, 2009 by District President Hans Peter Lindlar .

Private life

Emil Eyermann is married and has two children. He mentions hiking and his garden as hobbies.
