Hans Peter Lindlar
Hans Peter Lindlar (born February 23, 1946 in Hennef ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was 2005-2010 President of the Government of the governmental district of Cologne , and was previously a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Life and work
After graduating from high school in 1965, Lindlar did his military service. He's major in the reserve. From 1967 to 1972 he studied German and geography at the University of Bonn . After his legal traineeship he was a teacher for German and geography at grammar schools in Siegburg and Königswinter . In 1979 he became senior teacher.
Lindlar is married and has two children. His father is the former district administrator Willi Lindlar .
politics
In 1979 he became a council member in Hennef and also a district council member in the Rhein-Sieg district . From May 1990 to August 2005 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . There he was spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group and a member of the committee for environmental protection and regional planning. He was appointed district president on August 1, 2005. For him moved Karl-Josef Laumann according to the state parliament.
Lindlar was chairman of the local political association (KPV) and deputy federal chairman of the KPV as well as a member of the presidium of the city and community association of North Rhine-Westphalia .
After the change of the government coalition in North Rhine-Westphalia, the previous financial expert of the SPD parliamentary group, Gisela Walsken from Duisburg, became his successor on August 18, 2010 .
Since April 2012, Lindlar has been the chairman of the VVS (Beautification Association for the Siebengebirge) .
