Karl Ruppenthal
Karl Ferdinand Friedrich Julius Ruppenthal (born January 13, 1777 on the Wildenburg , † May 15, 1851 in Cologne ) was a Prussian politician .
In 1798 Karl Ruppenthal was trustee in Trier , became an attorney at the court of appeal there in 1805, in 1814 general secretary of the administration of the Saardepartement , in 1816 a councilor to the government in Düsseldorf , in 1819 a secret senior judicial councilor and advocate general at the court of revision in Berlin , in 1821 also legal counsel in the finance ministry, and in 1825 procurator general in the court of appeal in Cologne, 1834 district president of the Rhine Province in Cologne, 1838 real secret council and director of Rhenish affairs in the Ministry of Justice in Berlin.
Ruppenthal died in 1851 at the age of 74 and was buried in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne (Lit. C No. 76).
