Emil Heine
Emil Heine (born July 24, 1806 in Dresden ; † January 25, 1873 there ) was a German Catholic theologian and clergyman .
Life
Heine spent his school days at the Wendish seminar and then studied there. On October 24, 1831, he was ordained a priest in his hometown ; afterwards he worked as a priest in Freiberg for four years . From 1835 to 1837 Emil Heine worked as a chaplain in Leipzig . In 1837 he was acting court preacher in Dresden; only eight years later, in 1845, he actually became court preacher. In 1853, Heine became the confessor of the family around Johann von Sachsen . Added to this are Heine's activities as a canon in Bautzen and as a vicariate .
