Emil Jenzer

Emil Jenzer (born August 8, 1908 in Bern , † December 15, 1995 in Burgdorf ) was a Swiss printer and typesetter .

Life

Emil Jenzer completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter with Emil Zbinden in Bern from 1924 to 1928 . He then continued his training with Rudolf Koch in Offenbach am Main . In 1934 he founded the Berner Handpresse publishing house in Burgdorf , which produced over 40 books. In 1957 he took over the Burgdorfer Druckerei Haller, which he managed under the new name Haller + Jenzer until 1981.
