Emil Neugebauer

Emil Neugebauer (baptized name: Emil Karl Theodor) (born August 12, 1890 in Münster ; † October 3, 1939 in Witten ) was district administrator in the Zellerfeld , Linden (Hann.) And Ennepe-Ruhr districts .

Life

After graduating from the Realgymnasium in Münster, Emil Neugebauer studied law and political science in Munich , Berlin and Münster . He took part in the First World War and received his doctorate on March 20, 1920 in Münster with the dissertation “The public care of the poor in Münster” . Initially active as managing director of the price inspection office for the province of Westphalia from April 1, 1920, Neugebauer was temporarily commissioned with the administration of the Zellerfeld district office in November 1926 and was finally confirmed as district administrator in April 1927. He stayed in Lower Saxony and in 1928 became district administrator in the Linden district until he was temporarily commissioned with the administration of the Ennepe-Ruhr district on July 10, 1931. On January 29, 1932 he was definitely district administrator in Schwelm . Initially on leave in March 1932, then put into temporary retirement in April , Neugebauer was finally dismissed in October 1933. The basis for this measure was the law to restore the civil service .
