Emil Weber (politician, 1907)

Emil Weber (born November 14, 1907 in Linden ; † after 1975 ) was a German politician of the CVP and the CDU .

Weber, who worked as a manufacturer and managing director, was elected to the Saarland state parliament in 1952 for the CVP . He belonged to this until the early end of the electoral term in October 1955. In 1965 he ran again for parliament, now for the CDU. Because of the election result, he returned to the state parliament. On March 5, 1969 he was a member of the 5th Federal Assembly , which elected Gustav Heinemann as Federal President. A candidacy for the German Bundestag failed in the same year. For this, Weber was re-elected to the state parliament the following year. After the 1975 election he left the state parliament for good.
