Emile Jansen

Emile Jansen (born November 21, 1959 in Apeldoorn , Gelderland , Netherlands ) is a Dutch film producer , director and actor .

Life

Jansen studied at the Dutch "Arnhem Drama School".

He then played in first in the film Te Gek Om Los te Lopen and various television films and series. In 1989 he took on a role in the film Gwang tin lung fu wui which is also known under the international title China White . In 2005 he co-directed the 22-minute short film AlexFM with Ward Latier and Anne de Clercq . In 1996 he took on a role in the film Advocaat van de Hanen . Between 2004 and 2006 he was seen with guest roles in the series Ernst, Bobbie en de rest , Samen and Koppels .

In 2006 he starred in the video for Ernst, Bobbie en de rest: De grote sinterklaashow and in the same year took on a role as director in the mini-series Juliana, prinses van oranje . This was followed by several film and television productions. In 2007 he played the role of a neighbor in an episode of the television series Hausmeister Krause - Order must be with. In the same year he worked in several films, as well as in the mini-series Wie is de dader? in the role of "Willem". He took on another guest role in the series Flikken Maastricht and then made two more films.

In the movie Mein Kriegswinter , shot in 2008 , he took on the role of "Meneer Knopper". The film is also known under the English title Winter in Wartime and was nominated for the 2009 Oscar film prizes for best foreign film and the Satellite Award .

Jansen starred in two episodes of the television series De hoofdprijs in 2009 and then took on a role in the film Jack Said , which he produced and which was released on DVD in the USA under the title Paul Tanter's Jack Said . Until 2010 he took on other guest roles in the series In het vuur van de storm , Goede tijden, slechte tijden and Verborgen verhalen .
