Salesh Kumar (born July 28, 1981 ) is a Fijian soccer player .

He is the brother of Ronil Kumar , who was also active as a Fijian national soccer player.

His traditional position is midfield . He started his career at Nadi FC in 2002 and became a Fiji national player a year later . His next positions were the Olympia team and Ba FC . Kumar played in the New Zealand Football Championship for New Zealand club Waitakere United . He also played in New Zealand for his later clubs Central United and Auckland City FC . In 2009 he moved back to Fiji and played one season for Lautoka FC . After holding positions at Papatoetoe AFC , Three Kings United and again Waitakere United, he has been with Mangere United SC since 2014 .

In qualifying for the 2010 World Cup , he scored his first competitive goal against Vanuatu and Fiji took a 2-0 win.
