Emile Vauthier

Emile Antoine Vauthier (born May 20, 1864 in Brussels , Belgium ; † November 26, 1946 there ) was a Belgian portrait painter .

Vauthier, great-great-nephew of the painter Jules Antoine Vauthier (1774–1832), studied at the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles under Louis Pion (1851–1934) and Jean-François Portaels . In the years 1886/1887 he was a student at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There were Hugo Crola and Adolf Schill his teachers.
