Emily Hood Westacott (born May 6, 1910 as Emily Hood in Brisbane , † October 9, 1980 ) was an Australian tennis player .

Emily Hood Westacott won the 1939 Australian Tennis Championships with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the final over her compatriot Nell Hall Hopman ; In 1937 she failed in the final to Nancye Wynne . In 1930 she won the double-final against Marjorie Cox and Sylvia Lance Harper with Margaret Molesworth 6: 3, 0: 6 and 7: 5. Westakott and Molesworth were also able to prevail in 1933 and 1934; In 1933 they defeated Joan Hartigan and Marjorie Gladman Van Ryn 6: 3 and 6: 2 and in 1934 Joan Hartigan Bathurst and Ula Valkenburg 6: 8, 6: 4 and 6: 4. In 1937 Hood Westacott reached the final again with Nell Hall Hopman and in 1939 with May Hardcastle , in both games Thelma Coyne and Nancye Wynne were their opponents.
