Emmanuel Villanis (born December 12, 1858 in Lille , † August 28, 1914 in Paris ) was a French sculptor .

Villanis was born in France to Italian parents. From 1871 he completed his training at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin . This was followed by an apprenticeship with the sculptor Odoardo Tabachhi (1831–1905). He spent his main creative period from around 1890 until his death in 1914 in Paris. He is known for the large number of his female busts in the best bronze quality.

His artistic style combines the characteristics of Art Nouveau such as floral attributes, flowing fabrics and flattering hair shapes with the strict forms of classical antiquity. The real attraction of his best busts, however, is the underlying emotionality in the face and habitus, as a hint of symbolism paired with hidden eroticism. One of his busts can be seen in Cafe Villanis in Munich.
