Emmelie Konradsson
Emmelie Konradsson (born April 9, 1989 ) is a Swedish soccer player . The midfielder took part with the Swedish national team in the 2013 European Championship finals.
Career
Konradsson played in his youth at Umeå Södra FF . Via Umedalens IF , she came to Umeå IK damfotboll in January 2007 , where Andrée Jeglertz, head coach at the time, praised her passing game and her forward drive. In the championship wins in the 2007 and 2008 seasons , she was part of the squad, but only subsequently established herself in the regular formation. In the finals of the 2006/07 and 2007/08 UEFA Women's Cups , she was also on the substitutes' bench - without being used - against Arsenal LFC and 1. FFC Frankfurt , respectively.
In 2011 Konradsson played his way to the national team and made his debut against Canada in November . While she was an undisputed regular player in the club in the following years, she was only an irregular member of the national team. Ultimately, national coach Pia Sundhage nominated her for the European Championship finals in 2013 in her own country, where she was left with the role as a supplementary player: only in the 4-0 victory over Iceland in the quarter-finals did she come on short as a substitute for Lotta Schelin .
