Emmerich Weiderbauer

Emmerich Weiderbauer (born May 8, 1954 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian secondary school teacher and politician ( Greens ). Weiderbauer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 2003 to 2018 and lives in Melk . He is married and has two daughters.

Life

Weiderbauer attended elementary and secondary school and subsequently graduated from a music and pedagogical high school. After graduating from high school, he attended the Pedagogical Academy and trained as a secondary school teacher. Weiderbauer teaches English, gymnastics, information technology and professional orientation at the secondary and polytechnic school in Loosdorf .

Weiderbauer succeeded in moving into the Melk municipal council as the only green mandate for the time being in autumn 1995 and has represented the Greens in the Lower Austrian state school board since January 2000 . He is a member of the regional committee of the Greens in Lower Austria and represented his party in the Lower Austrian state parliament from April 24, 2003. The subjects of education, social affairs, youth, senior citizens, integration and sport were among his specialist areas in the state parliament club. From 2005 to 2010, Weiderbauer was the Melker town councilor responsible for transport matters.

After the state elections in Lower Austria in 2018 , he left the state parliament.
