Emmerson Orlando Boyce (born September 24, 1979 in Aylesbury ) is an English - Barbadian football player .

Career

Boyce began his career in 1998 at Luton Town , for which he completed 185 games by 2004 and scored eight goals. In 2004 he moved to Crystal Palace and played 69 times for the club until 2006. He was voted Player of the 2006 season by fans of the club. Finally, in the summer of 2006, he signed a four-year contract with Wigan Athletic .

In addition to his engagement in England , Emmerson Boyce plays for the Barbados national team since his parents were born in Barbados. On March 20, 2008 he was nominated for the first time, but not used. On March 26 against Dominica , he finally completed his first international match.
