The Barbadian national soccer team is the national soccer team of the Caribbean island state of Barbados . The team belongs to the sporty middle class of the continental association CONCACAF . So far, the team has not yet managed to qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup or the World Cup.

World Championship

• 1930 to 1974 - did not participate
• 1978 - In qualifying for the 1978 World Cup in Argentina , they met in the Caribbean zone in the first round in Group A on Trinidad and Tobago and were eliminated after a 2-1 and 0-1 with 1: 3 in the playoff.
• 1982 - did not participate
• 1986 - In qualifying for the 1986 World Cup in Mexico , they were drawn in Group 3 of the 1st round against Costa Rica , but withdrew from the qualification.
• 1990 - did not participate
• 1994 - In qualifying for the 1994 World Cup in the USA , they met Trinidad and Tobago in the first round of Caribbean zone 2 and were eliminated 1: 2 and 0: 3.
• 1998 - In qualifying for the 1998 World Cup in France , they met Dominica in Caribbean zone 4 of the preliminary round and prevailed with two 1-0 wins. Then you met on Jamaica , against which you were eliminated with 0: 1 and 0: 2.
• 2002 - In qualifying for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea , they prevailed in Caribbean zone 1 of the preliminary round with 2: 2 and 3: 2 afterwards against Grenada and then met Aruba , against which they won 3: 1 and 4: 0 could also prevail. Then they met Cuba and were able to qualify for the second round on penalties after two 1-1 draws. There you met in Group 3 on the USA , Costa Rica and Guatemala . • 2010 - As part of the qualification for the Soccer World Cup 2010 in South Africa , the team met Dominica's national team in the first round of the CONCACAF zone . The first leg in Roseau ( Dominica ) ended 1: 1 on February 6, 2008. The second leg in Bridgetown (Barbados) on March 26, Barbados won 1-0 and thus moved into the second round. There they met the USA in the first leg in Los Angeles on June 15 and were clearly defeated 8-0. The second leg took place in Bridgetown on June 22nd and ended 0-1. With that Barbados was eliminated.
• 2014 - In qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil , Trinidad and Tobago , Guyana and Bermuda were played in the 2nd round . After six defeats they were eliminated from bottom of the group.
• 2018 - In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia , Barbados defeated the US Virgin Islands in the first round in March 2015 with a 0-1 at home and 4-0 away. Both games were won against Aruba (2-0 and 1-0), but since Hadan Holligan, who was suspended from yellow, was used, CONCACAF scored the second leg 3-0 for Aruba. With that Barbados was eliminated.
