Emmy Drechsler Hamilton ( Emely Drechsler Hamilton ; Emely ( Emmy ) Woycke Drechsler ; * 1850 in Edinburgh , † after 1890) was an English violinist and music teacher.

The daughter of the organist and pianist Adam Hamilton performed successfully as a violin virtuoso as a child with works such as Charles de Bériot's First Violin Concerto and the Variations du Concert sur un Thème original by Ferdinand David . Together with her sister Bertha she studied violin with Ferdinand David in Leipzig for five years. In Great Britain she then appeared in her father's piano quartet, to which her brother Carl Drechsler Hamilton also belonged. Until 1871 she also formed a successful violin duo with Bertha.

In 1871 she married the pianist and composer Eugen Adalbert Woycke . Even after her marriage, she performed as a soloist and in a duo with her husband. Her repertoire included works like the Partita in D minor by Bach , Beethoven Violin Sonata in F Major, and works by Joachim Raff and Jean-Marie Leclair . In later years she devoted herself increasingly to teaching. At her son Victor's debut concert in Edinburgh in 1889, she played with him Bach's Double Concerto for two violins in D minor.
