Emmy Woitsch

Emmy Woitsch the Elder (born June 9, 1894 in Ried im Innkreis , † 1981 ) was an Austrian painter .

Live and act

In her youth she received private painting lessons from Franz Xaver Weidinger . She became known for her Kornmandl pictures and the representation of the Innviertel in watercolors. She is the mother of Emmy Woitsch the Elder. J., who taught art education at the Bundesrealgymnasium in Schärding. She was a member of the Innviertel artists' guild .
