information in Germany Street Fight

Empire City: 1931 is a first-person Shoot'-em-up , the 1986 from Seibu Kaihatsu developed and later at Taito licensed. In Germany the game was called Street Fight for licensing reasons . The aim of this arcade game , set in New York during Prohibition , is to rid the city of gangsters who mainly appear in a window front.

description

The player controls a crosshair over the screen, which can be scrolled in all directions , and has to find and shoot the gangsters. Occasionally there are screams from women being kidnapped by them. These women, who are directly with a gangster, must not be hit. It is often difficult to find the gangsters who mostly appear behind the windows. The whole house fronts have to be searched. A moving curtain indicates a successful search. But opponents can also be found down on the street.

The player must not be hit by them and can press a save button. However, almost the entire screen is covered by a graphic of the player character and the scrolling is shifted in the opposite direction. A speech bubble with a number (usually 5 at the beginning, counting down) shows the maximum time the save button must be pressed. In addition, there is only a limited number of ammunition. Later, the color graphic changes to a dark blue graphic (night).

At the end of each level , a fat boss standing on the street has to be hit.
