Emrah Metoğlu (born June 5, 1989 in Rize ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Metoğlu began club football in the youth of Salarha SK and then went through the youth departments of Çaykur Rizespor , Rize Belediyespor and Çaykurspor . After he was not offered a professional contract with the previous clubs, he switched to Ofspor as a professional player in 2009 . From this club he was loaned to the fourth division Arsinspor and played here for the following two seasons. After his contract with Ofspor expired in the summer of 2011, he left this club for fourth division Diyarbakır Kayapınar Belediyespor . With this club he scored 14 goals by the end of the season, making him the most successful goalscorer of his team. Since Kayapınar Belediyespor had missed relegation, Metoğlu moved to the new season for city rivals Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor . With this club he reached 19 league goals by the end of the season and was third on the scorers list of the TFF 3rd Lig . With his team he also became champions of the league and thus rose to the TFF 2nd Lig .

After he had his best season to date with Diyarbakır BB, several clubs in the upper leagues were interested in Metoğlu. Finally, he moved to the second division Boluspor in the summer of 2013 . After just one season he moved within the TFF 1st Lig to Osmanlıspor FK .

After half a season he was hired by the third division Göztepe Izmir . From this club he was loaned to Pendikspor for the second half of the 2015/16 season.
