Bescho Kerjasow ( Bulgarian Енчо Керязов ; born October 15, 1973 in Elchowo ) is a Bulgarian acrobat .

biography

As the son of a family of teachers, Dezo Kerjasow was born in 1973 in Yambol, Bulgaria. The rather skinny boy began acrobatics training at the age of six , although the trainers agreed on the physical requirements for him. In the end, however, she was won over by his ambition . At the age of 14 Kerjasow was youth champion of acrobatics , in the following year he was a member of the national team and became Bulgarian national champion of acrobatics.

At the age of 16, he joined the “Romanovi” jockey troop and toured Europe for seven years.

In the following years he developed his own equilibristic number. With the presentation of a handstand acrobatics, he won prizes in England, Holland, France and Germany. The highlight of his career was winning the audience award and the "Silver Clown" at the 31st Monte Carlo Circus Festival in 2007. In 2011 he received the highest award of the Bulgarian artists' association, the "ICAR" and was made an honorary citizen of his hometown of Yambol.

In 2011 he founded the Foundation Encho Keryazov , a foundation that, with the support of other Bulgarian celebrities, promotes and financially supports talented children and young people in the fields of art, science and sport. The foundation has now gained national and international attention, so that at the annual award ceremony for children and young people, which has been taking place in Kerjasov's hometown of Yambol since December 2012, in addition to the Bulgarian Minister of Education Weschdi Raschidow (2012), the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Wigenin (2014) also ambassadors from Germany and the Netherlands. In January 2015 he brought together high-ranking international circus artists for the first time in Yambol as part of the charity gala, including the clown David Larible . The preliminary highlight of his social commitment is a gala in Sofia in February 2016, which he is holding with his friend and supporter of the foundation, Jordan Jovtchev (Olympic gold medalist and president of the Bulgarian Sports Confederation) in order to raise further funds for the foundation.

As part of a special edition, Kerjasow appeared alongside other Roncalli artists on an Austrian postage stamp.

In 2011 he was a jury member for the television show Bulgaria's got talent . In January 2012, a 45-minute documentary by the director Georgi Tochev about Kerjasov's life will be broadcast on the television channel bTV (Bulgaria) . His involvement with the Roncalli Circus as well as various appearances, such as at a sports gala by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the USA in 2012 and 2014, continued to make Kerjasow internationally known.

On May 24, 2012, the day of the Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture and Slavic Literature Bulgarian Holidays (the holiday is closely linked to the creation of the Cyrillic alphabet), at the suggestion of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, Keryazov will be awarded the "Golden Age" award for outstanding contributions to Bulgarian culture and promotion of Bulgarian art and culture abroad. Kerjasow has been the sponsor and namesake of a nationally successful trampoline sports club in Bulgaria since the beginning of 2013. He continued his artistic career with engagements for the 2014 season at the Swiss National Circus Circus Knie and in 2015/2016 in the USA at the Circus Hermanos Vazquez.

Kerjasow is married to the former sportswoman and artist Dimitrinka Kerjasowa and has two sons who already perform acrobatics themselves.
