Energy delivery

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Energy delivery is the provision of energy for a fee to a consumer or other end customer or an intermediary. Energy is provided in the form of thermal energy ( district heating ), electrical energy (electricity) or mechanical energy (e.g. steam, saturated steam, compressed air) by an energy supply company or contractor.

Legal basis

The explanations refer to German law. As a rule, a sales contract for the energy to be supplied is concluded between the energy producer / energy supply company and the customer or intermediary, e.g. B. a heat or electricity supply contract. The foundations for this include a. the Civil Code ( BGB ), the Energy Act ( EnWG ), the basic electricity Regulation ( StromGVV ), gas primary care Regulation ( GasGVV ) Stromnetzzugangsverordnung Regulation ( StromNZV ), Gas Network Access Ordinance ( GasNZV ), Low Voltage Access Directive ( NAV ), Low Pressure Connection Ordinance ( NDAV ) and the Regulation on general conditions for the supply of district heating ( AVBFernwärmeV ). The AVBEltV and AVBGasV were in effect until November 8, 2006, and were repealed when the NAV and NDAV came into force.

In principle, energy supply contracts are a form of purchase that is supplemented by further elements, in particular agreements on times, quantities, tariffs, discount conditions, etc. Special forms such as contracting or heat contracting have also emerged.
