Engelbert Üllenberg (* 1706 in Elberfeld (now part of Wuppertal ); † September 12, 1775 there ) was mayor of Elberfeld.

Üllenberg was born the son of the businessman and councilor Johann Gottfried Üllenberg (1663–1749) and his wife Katharina Wichelhausen (1666–1715) and was baptized on July 28, 1706. His great-grandfather Gottfried Üllenberg (around 1585–1663) was mayor of Elberfeld in 1640.

Üllenberg himself married Maria Katharina Langerfeldt (1712–1741) on May 27, 1734, with whom he had four children, two of whom died in childhood. After her death, he married Kornelia Mühlenkamp (1710–1746) on July 18, 1742, with whom he again had three children, only one of whom reached adulthood. After the death of the second wife, he married a third time on March 15, 1747, this time Amalia Knevels (1709–1774), with whom he had two more children.

Like his father, Üllenberg began as a merchant in Elberfeld, when he became a common man in 1737, 1741 and 1743. In 1942 he became a member of the council and in 1744 mayor of Elberfeld. In the following year he became a city judge and in the following years several times again a council member. He held this position in 1747, 1752, 1754, 1756, 1761 and 1762. In 1766 he was re-elected mayor and was thus city judge again in 1767. After that he was a member of the council from 1768 to 1775.
