Engelbert Bayer

Engelbert Bayer (born June 26, 1895 in Oberretzbach ; † May 25, 1952 ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and business owner. Bayer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1927 to 1932 .

Life

Bayer attended elementary school and community school in Retz before graduating from the agricultural school in Feldsberg . Bayer did his military service between 1914 and 1918. Professionally, Bayer worked as a business owner in Oberretzbach, where he was also the founder and chairman of the Lower Austrian Gherkin Farmers Association. Bayer was also the founder and later honorary chairman of the support association for horse losses in Retz and the surrounding area, as well as chairman of the local farmers' council.

Between 1943 and 1944 Bayer was drafted again for military service.

Between May 20, 1927 and May 21, 1932, Bayer represented the Christian Social Party in the Lower Austrian state parliament during the second legislative period.
