3 Colors Red was an alternative rock band from Great Britain .

Band history

The band was founded in 1996 in London by singer and bassist Pete Vukovic, guitarists Chris McCormack and Ben Harding and drummer Keith Baxter. She released the single This Is My Hollywood , which was widely acclaimed in the underground . This success brought the band a record deal with Creation Records . Between January and May 1997, two more singles were released until the debut album Pure was released. The EP Paralyze followed at the end of 1998 and the second album Revolt in 1999 . In the summer of 1999 the band broke up and gave a farewell concert at the Reading and Leeds Festivals .

In 2002, singer Vukovic, guitarist McCormack and drummer Baxter reformed the band. Founding member Ben Harding was no longer available, Paul Grant became the second guitarist. The single Repeat to Fade was released . The band was signed by Mighty Atom Records . Stylistically she turned to punk rock and released the third studio album The Union of Souls in the summer of 2004 . Commercial success failed to materialize, and the band finally broke up in 2005. In 2005, Sanctuary Records released a double album with previously unreleased songs from the successful phase from 1996 to 1999. Also in 2005 a live album and a live DVD with recordings from 2004 were released.
