Engelberto Polino Sánchez

Engelberto Polino Sánchez (born March 14, 1966 in Teuchitlán , Jalisco ) is a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara .

Life

Engelberto Polino Sánchez received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Guadalajara on June 1, 1997 .

He completed in-depth studies in social pastoral care in Santa Fe in Colombia and at the Instituto Mexicano de Doctrina Social Cristiana in Mexico City . Until his appointment as bishop he was active in parish pastoral care and as a diocesan coordinator for social pastoral care.

On February 2, 2018 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Vazari-Didda and auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Francisco Cardinal Robles Ortega , donated him and the auxiliary bishops Héctor López Alvarado and Juan Manuel Muñoz Curiel, who were appointed with him, episcopal ordination on April 21 of the same year .
