Héctor López Alvarado

Héctor López Alvarado (born December 13, 1970 in Guadalajara ) is a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara .

Life

Héctor López Alvarado studied at the seminary in Guadalajara and received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Guadalajara on May 19, 2002 .

After further studies, he obtained a degree in dogmatics from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome . He was active in pastoral care and training for priests. Most recently, in addition to his work as pastor, he was episcopal vicar for the Vicariate of Toluquilla and worked in the diocesan television center.

On February 2, 2018 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Sereddeli and auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Francisco Cardinal Robles Ortega , donated him and the auxiliary bishops Engelberto Polino Sánchez and Juan Manuel Muñoz Curiel, who were appointed with him, episcopal ordination on April 21 of the same year .
