Engin Nursani
Engin Nurşani (* 1984 in Krefeld ; actually Engin Ayhan) is a German - Turkish singer and the son of the poet and Alevi folk singer Aşık Ali Nurşani . Engin Nurşani is very well known in Turkey for his music.
In June 2019, it was announced that the singer, like his father, had larynx cancer . Nurşani expressed confidence via Facebook that he could get the disease under control. In July, the news that an operation worth € 200,000 was required to get his vote caused a sensation on social media. Engin's father Aşık Ali Nurşani then turned to the public in an emotional video and asked for donations. The Turkish rock musician Haluk Levent reacted to this and promised his support.
A few months later, however, Engin spoke up himself and announced that his father would shed "false tears" in his video message: "My treatment is borne by the Ministry of Health. My father tries to deceive my fans with crocodile tears. During my three months so far He didn't even visit me for therapy. He's cheating on my loved ones by taking advantage of my illness. I'm going to file a criminal complaint. "
