Enneüs Heerma
Enneüs Heerma (born December 23, 1944 in Rijperkerk , † March 1, 1999 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratic Appèl .
Life
Heerma studied at the Vrijen Universiteit Amsterdam . From 1971 to 1986 he was a member of the Amsterdam City Council . From 1967 to 1980 Heerma was a member of the Anti-Revolutionaire Partij . From 1986 to 1994 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Volkshuisvesting, Ruimtelijke Ordening en Milieubeheer . From August 18, 1994 to March 17, 1997 Heerma was parliamentary group chairman of the Christian Democratic Appèl . In 1989 and 1994 to 1997 Heerma was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General . In 1999 he died of lung cancer. Heerma was married to Anke Govertine Vonkeman and had three children. His son Pieter Heerma has been a member of the Second Chamber of the States General for the CDA since 2012.
