Ennio Lorenzini

Ennio Lorenzini (* 1934 in Rome ; † March 15, 1982 ibid) was an Italian documentary filmmaker .

Life

Lorenzini worked on numerous short films by Gian Vittorio Baldi and began a productive career as a documentarist in 1961; he preferred topics from industry and also worked for Fiat . His first film to be released was the largely unknown documentary Les algerins , a co-production with Algeria . In 1968 the first television film with a game was made, the experimental style Cronaca di un gruppo . After another television work in 1972, Lorenzini shot three years later Quanto è bello lu murire acciso , the story of the patriot Carlo Pisacane , in which he provided an analytical look at the Risorgimento . The film has won several awards.

Lorenzini died in a traffic accident.
