Ennio Marzocchini

Ennio Marzocchini (born December 14, 1942 in Empoli , † August 19, 2011 in Florence ) was an Italian director .

Life

After starting out in telecommunications, Marzocchini completed a degree in literature and graduated in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia . In 1969 he began working as a camera assistant in film and worked in various functions until 1973, such as editing secretary and assistant director. In 1973 he made his debut as a director with a short film and a documentary work. In 1979 he founded the film cooperative “Kes Film” and has now presented works that were reserved for smaller cineastes, but which took part in numerous festivals. Marzocchini also worked for RAI from 1971 and founded the transmitter Antenna 5 in Empoli in 1978 , which he ran for three years. He also worked as a commercial filmmaker, author and university lecturer.
