Enrico Danieli

Enrico Danieli (born September 2, 1952 in Zurich ) is a Swiss doctor and writer .

Life

Enrico Danieli studied (after four semesters of German studies) human medicine at the University of Zurich and practiced as a specialist in general medicine in Zurich's Seefeld district for 20 years .

He has also written a number of novels and short stories as a prose writer . Danieli has lived as a freelance writer in Ticino since he retired as a doctor in 2005 .

In 1995 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . He is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland .
