Enrique Bernstein Carabantes
Enrique Bernstein Carabantes (born July 11, 1910 in Santiago de Chile , † July 26, 1990 there ) was a Chilean diplomat .
He was chief of protocol in the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the presidency of Eduardo Frei Montalva he was ambassador to Austria , Yugoslavia and France .
In his capacity as ambassador to Paris, Bernstein Carabantes signed the diplomatic recognition of the People's Republic of China by Chile on January 5, 1971 .

- 1957: Large Cross of Merit with Star of the Federal Republic of Germany
- 1959: Large gold medal on ribbon for services to the Republic of Austria
