Entylia is a genus of humpback chirps from the subfamily Smiliinae , of which several species have been described, but which are perhaps all synonyms of E. carinata (Forster 1771). The pronotum of these humpback chirps is laterally compressed and forms a front quadrangle and a rear round extension. The square is higher than the rear elevation.

E. carinata occurs in many countries in South and Central America and is also widespread in the USA.
